I am Yana Peshehonova.
My camera is a tool to help me get lost in my work.
I adore nature and its beauty.
For the past three years, I have been nomadic with my two dogs, traveling all across Canada and the continental United States.
We have recently settled in Oregon, laying dormant for a little rest before our next adventures begin.
Currently based in Portland, Oregon.
The Portland Metro area rests on traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River. A portion of my proceeds are paid as reparations to the Native Peoples of these lands.
Yana, unapologetically wild.
I roam to seek, to see the world.
